The News blog and the Calendar

Late on Thursday 20th Feb the server that the website has been running on suffered a double disk drive failure and along with some other sites this one went offline. I have restored the main part of the site to a temporary server so all pages should be visible except the News Blog and the Calendar which is an extension of it.

I will be trying to restore the News blog as soon as possible once I have a new server to put the site back onto. However since the on-server backups were lost this may be quite time consuming.

The Calendar plugin has been discontinued by its programmer, so we will need a new one that supports our needs and that will have to be researched and installed and then the calendar entries put in manually from scratch. So again this may take some time.

Alternative Calendar now live

I have embedded a Google Calendar on a new Calendar page. We will populate it over the next few days.

Please be patient while I attempt to get us back to normal.
