Junior Training

The club provides a range of junior coaching, both for beginners learning the game and for developing young players. We have an established coaching team led by senior Scottish internationalists and close links with Edinburgh Chess Academy.

Our regular Wednesday evening junior coaching sessions for developing players are led by former Scottish Champion and FIDE chess master Neil Berry. These take place on Wednesdays 6.15pm to 7.15pm and are free to junior members of the club.

We run two popular junior training classes on Sunday mornings in conjunction with Edinburgh Chess Academy. The beginners class is at 09.30am while more experienced chess players meet at 10.45am. The details for these classes can be found here along with a form to register interest.
