Monday Afternoons - Club Open!
Alva StreetEH2 4PHIn our recent member survey interest was expressed in the club opening during the daytime – so we’re trialling opening the club up on Monday afternoons from 2pm to 4.30pm.
Depending on turnout you can play friendlies, analyse one of your games with everyone or take part in rapid-play competitions.
We’ll try this out during February and March. It would be useful – but not essential – if you register that you’ll be coming. If for any reason we ‘re unable to open we’ll try and ensure registrants are informed..

Alva StreetEH2 4PHIM Lorin D’Costa from She Plays To Win (SPTW), with support from Edinburgh Chess Club, is running a 5 round, 20 board, FIDE rated invitational event over 3 days during half-term next February (12th-14th) aimed at girls and women.
